Community
& Corporate Classes

We feel strongly in supporting our community.  We will be offering donation based classes once a month for a local non-profit charity and hope to be able to offer a larger community class in the near future.  Sign up here to receive notifications.



Private Lessons

Lessons/sessions designed and choreographed based on your current fitness level, needs and goals. These lessons are limited to individuals, couples, and families. Small group sessions are available at mutually convenient times. Increase total body strength, flexibility and range of motion.



Group Fitness Classes

We offer a variety of classes for all skill levels.  The class sizes range depending on the type of class.  It is important to us that we maintain the ability to provide personal service to each member no matter the size. View a list of the classes being offered below.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Aerial Yoga:
This is an all-level class, that utilizes deluxe flying yoga hammock to elevate you off the floor, simplifying your inversions, deepening your hip openers, and bringing space to your backbends.  Incorporates the hammock with mat work.  It requires body strength.

Aerial Yoga is a method that helps students gain kinesthetic awareness and build cardiovascular and muscular strength in a safe and supportive environment.

DO NOT practice Aerial Yoga if you get dizzy easily, suffer from Vertigo, have blood pressure condition or have glaucoma.
AERIAL YOGA RULES:
  1. Be on time! For safety reasons, we must start all students together so please arrive on time or you will not be admitted into class.
  2. Leave all jewelry at home. This includes: earrings, rings, facial piercings, necklaces. They can easily snag the fabric and cause injury.
  3. Wear smooth athletic clothes that will allow you to move. No rhinestones, sequins, big zippers. As these too can easily snag the fabric.
  4. No perfumes or body sprays or oils as the fabric absorbs the scent and can leave stains.
  5. No unsupervised practicing yoga poses in the hammock before or after class.

Balance:
The balance classes are designed to improve balance by strengthening and improving range of motion of the ankles and hips.  These classes are done in a standing position with available support for those who need it.

Ballet Sculpt:
Ballet Sculpt is the love child of a barre and ballet class. ... The class builds muscular endurance through ballet-inspired moves that strengthen and lengthen multiple muscle groups. Xenia designs the class to target the whole body—legs, arms, back, and core.
Strictly Ballroom Fitness:
Strictly Ballroom Fitness is the World's ONLY Ballroom and Latin dance fitness program that combines the elegant and graceful steps from the Ballroom with fun, up-tempo Latin steps.

Created by world class ballroom and latin champions, and stars of Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars, this program is guaranteed to keep participants to dance away their troubles, feel like a star and get fit and toned in the process.

Featuring all of your favorite dances and uplifting, varied music spanning the generations, it is an inclusive class for all ages, all abilities and doesn't require a partner.

The difference with Zumba is its traditional Ballroom and Latin roots, no Zumba class will teach you the poise and elegance of a Viennese Waltz for example!  The music in a FitSteps class spans the generations, from rock and roll to amazing ballads to current hits there is something for everyone.  You also feel with this class that you are learning a SKILL, you are learning how to be a Ballroom dancer at the same time as having your workout.  The dances have been devised in a way that works the whole body so as well as being fun, it also is an amazing workout.
SHOES OPTIONAL

Barre Intensity®:
Barre fitness is inspired by the movements of ballet, barre's combination of fitness elements—including Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training—are highly effective in improving cardiovascular health, muscle development and flexibility. Barre Intensity® takes barre classes to a new level, with a specific focus on muscle fatigue and elevated heart rate to create an intense and effective whole-body workout.

Chair Yoga:

Chair yoga is a general term for practices that modify yoga poses so that they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people who cannot stand or lack the mobility to move easily from standing to seated to supine positions. Many of the basic body mechanics of the individual postures are retained, no matter the stance of the practitioner. While seated on chairs, students can do versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends, and mild backbends.

Core:
30 minutes of exercises designed to increase core strength and stability.

Hatha Yoga (Beginners Yoga):
The word "Hatha" is both the umbrella term for all physical practices of yoga and the yoga of opposing energies, ha (sun) and tha (moon), offering a balanced mind-body practice. The well-rounded sequences temper heat and strength with flexibility and stillness, addressing the body and mind in equal measure.

I AM Yoga Nidra™:
Yoga Nidra is a sleep based meditation technique that has the power to take you to the deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness. No yoga experience is necessary. Can be practiced lying down or seated in a chair.

Mindfulness & Insight Meditation:
Mindfulness and Insight Meditation is a way of opening to what is present and seeing clearly the totality of one's relation to life's circumstances. The practice is based on cultivating a present-centered mindfulness, leading to an unfolding of our natural wisdom and kindness for the self and others.

The Pilates Wheel®:
The Pilates Wheel® that simulates a pilates reformer machine without the bulk and space. It is a total-body conditioning method teach the repertoire of moves originally designed by founder Joseph Pilates, aims to safely increase strength, flexibility, and endurance without adding bulk. Challenge your core in new ways to build stability, refine your posture, strengthen your back—and maybe even reshape your butt.
Power Yoga:
Power Yoga focuses on toning muscles as it builds flexibility and stamina. Your flow will focus on weight-bearing standing poses, which build the heat necessary to aid stretching. Perfect for athletes, stronger practitioners, and multitaskers.  Power Yoga is an accessible way to increase flexibility while also getting a workout.
Quantum Breath Meditation:
Quantum Breath meditation is a technique for meditation which progressively slows down the activity of mind using breath and mantra. Eventually, we get beyond the mind and experience true self. The uniqueness of this technique is that it opens the door for your restless mind to instantly enter a deeper integrative state. The Quantum Breath Meditation helps decrease stress-related health problems such as anxiety, depression, fatigue and insomnia.
We are going to develop this practice of meditation to create abundance. The power to create anything flows through us when we are connected to the moment, plugged into the deeper source from which all experience, knowledge, and existence emerge and to which they return.  
Simply Stretching:
Accepting the body where it is and slowly breathe into stretches to help release muscle tension and tightness.  All levels.

Vinyasa Flow:
Perhaps the most popular style practiced in the West, these classes keep you moving! You'll flow continuously through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures, linking breath with movement and work to build strength, endurance, balance and flexibility.
Yin Yoga:
Luxuriously long holds influence the body's meridians and strives to deeply stretch and open the hips, pelvis, shoulders and spine to create space in the joints and nourish the connective tissues. The work in these deceptively challenging poses is finding the ease in the discomfort that arises and a meditative awareness of the sensations as they come and go.
